CARROLLTON, Ohio – Lloyd Albert Lockhart, 65, of Cobbler Road died at 9:26 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 1992, at the Timken-Mercy Hospital of Canton, Ohio, following a six-month illness.
He was born in Barberton, Ohio, April 13, 1927, a son of the late Franklin M. and Stella Ethel Sams Lockhart.
Mr. Lockhart lived most of his lifetime in East Liverpool area, and was employed as a grinder 26 years at the former TRW in Minerva, now called PCC Airfoils. He was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie, Salineville American Legion and the American Federation of Musicians.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Debbie) Smith of Wellsville; a son, Rick Lockhart of Wellsville; four sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Opal) Claus of Salem, Mrs. Robert (Lenora) Wolf of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Delmar (Lura Jean) Logston of Hookstown and Mrs. Willard (Hazel) Smith of Salem; a brother, Herbert Lockhart of East Liverpool; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. Phillip Bowles of the Chester Church of the Nazarene is to conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening.
