William Miles Fallwell is the son of William H. Fallwell and Matilda Elizabeth Little. William married Emily E. "Emma" Baker on October 1, 1871, in Panola County, Texas. She was the daughter of Jacob Stroud Baker born in 1832 in Georgia and Lucy Ann Peavy born in 1834 in Georgia.

William and Emma had one child, Ola Belle Fallwell who was born February 9, 1873 in Longview, Gregg County, Texas. Emma died shortly after Ola was born leaving William a widow with a young child. Her grandparents, Jacob & Lucy Baker help to raise her.

William married a second time to Susan Mary Ophelia Moore on July 7, 1876 in Gregg County, Texas. William and Ophelia had 11 children:

Funeral services for William Miles Fallwell, 79, prominent farmer who died at the home of Mrs. C. J. Mackey, a daughter, near Gladewater yesterday afternoon after a prolonged illness, were held at the Catholic church at O'Byrnes Mill at 11 o'clock this morning by Father Meyer of St. Mary's church here. Burial was in Phillips cemetery. Mr .Fallwell was born in Mount Enterprise. Rusk county, August 28. 1849. He is survived by nine children. He became affiliated with the Catholic church in 1895.
