Sarah Deborah "Debby" Irwin Brown was born 11 December 1880, the daughter of Oscar Drunery Irwin and Minerva Jane Stevenson.
She was married 5 April 1905 to Arthur Alexander Brown. They were the parents of a daughter, Blanche, as well as three little infants that died at birth.
Art and Debby also raised a nephew, Earl Perry Irwin. Earl's mother died when he was young, leaving his father with three young children to raise alone.
