Mrs. Catherine Louise Adair, 81, of Broaddus, passed away Sunday evening, December 5, 2010, at Twin Lakes Care Center in San Augustine.
Catherine was born to Mary Opal (Crow) Courtney and Delbert Lee Courtney on October 7, 1929, in Collins, Arkansas. She was a bookkeeper clerk for Walgreens, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Broaddus, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Broaddus, Texas. Interment will follow in the Broaddus Cemetery in Broaddus, Texas. Officiating will be Dr. Wayne Barth. Mrs. Adair will lie-in-state at the church beginning at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010, until funeral service time.
She is survived by: Husband: Albert Adair of Broaddus Son: Arnold Lee Adair and his wife, Darlene of Deer Park, Texas; Marion David Adair and his wife, Kerry of Deer Park, Texas; Grandchildren: Eric Adair, Amy Adair, Adam Adair, Emily Adair, and one great grandchild.
