Geoffrey Stewart Augustus White was born on 18 August 1891 at Wandsworth, England to Colonel George Augustus White and Alice Salter. He was trained as "Cadet" at Royal Military College, Sandhurst and was commissioned in the South Lancashire Regiment. He fought at Battle of Mons and was reported missing on 26 August 1914. He was presumed dead on 10 September 1914. There is no grave of Geoffrey Stewart Augustus White and he was commemorated at La Ferte sous Jouaere Memorial.
