Thomas M. "Tom" Lowe, Sr., age 80, of Covington, died August 6, 2010. He is survived by his love of 30 years, Deedra McClure of Covington; children, Kathy Randall of Madison, Angela Carnline of Woodville, FL, Donna Gilstrap of Monroe, Thomas M. "Tommy" Lowe, Jr. & Mark C. Lowe both of Richland, WA, Mary E. Vandervoet of Newborn, Theresa D. McMahan of Richland, WA, Ramona S. Lowe of Covington; sisters, Joyce Sinyard, Runell Jackson and Harriet Housworth; brother, Joe Lowe; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, August 8 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in his memory to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. The family will receive friends 5-7 Saturday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, 770-482-4411, henryfuneral.com.
