Mr. Ginther, a native of Colorado, came to California in 1925 and had been a resident of Taft for 20 years. He was a former employee of the Southern California Gas Company, working as a gauger. At the time of death he was working as a custodian for the Eliks Lodge in Taft. Survivors include the widow, Dorothy; one son, John R., Taft; one granddaughter, Renae; and a half-brother, E. James Pertile, Arcadia.
