John has provided the following information:
Pvt. Arthur Ray Allen was born July 24, 1920, La Porte County, Indiana and entered the military on January 5, 1943. Received training at Ft. Buss, Shreveport Louisiana and Camp Pickett, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Piller Allen and two daughters, parents Arthur Allen Sr.and Mrs Maude Murray, sister Mrs. Florence Johns and three brothers, Charles W. Robert and Jack. His grandmother was Dora Snavely.

He was first buried at block I, row 10, grave 242 on the same day of his death. He was disinterred on 28 June 1848 and given his final resting place on 23 February 1949.
