Co-Pilot of B-24H Liberator #42-51223.
Shot down by flak over Münster, Germany on mission to strike the marshalling yards there, killing six crewmembers. Three parachuted and survived. Missing Air Crew Report № 13618.

Son of Louis and Anna Briskin, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Solon enlisted in the Army Air Corps in San Antonio, Texas, on March 20, 1943.
He received the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, and a Purple Heart. Army Serial Number O2009001.
