Gary LeRoy Harker, 25, of the 1900 block of
Cassady Drive died of multiple organ failure
Thursday at Broadlawns Medical Center. He suffered from complications of Bi-Polar condition.

Services will be held at 2 p.m Monday at Rising Sun
Church Of Christ of which he was a member.
Burial will be at Vandalia Cemetery.

Gary was born in Des Moines and had lived here
most of his life. He was a printer with Edwards
Graphic Art. He enjoyed biking,working on cars
and played on his company softball team.

Surviors are his mother and step-father,
Linda Lamb and Jerry Puffenbarger of Lake
City,Fla.; his father and step-mother,
Harold Harker Jr.and Donna Harker of Des Moines;
a sister Julie Pettigrew of Emporia.Kan.;
a step brother, Matthew Harker of Winterset,IA,
and his grandparents, Harold Harker,Sr. and
Beverly Harker of West Des Moines,Shirley and
Frank Nelson of Lake Butler, FLA. and Meda Lamb
and Gail Decker, both of Des Moines.
