Walter. F. Davis, 70 of Pennfield Township, died Tuesday, December 26, 1995 at his home.

He was born September 29, 1925 in Leola, Arkansas, to William and Mary Catherine (James) Davis and graduated from Leola High School.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and worked at Kellogg Company for 33 years, retiring in 1980.

He married Jerolean J. Ward on January 24, 1953 in Battle Creek . She died July 10, 1995

Surviving are a son, Frank of Battle Creek, a daughter Mary Nelson of Battle Creek, three grandchildren, three Step-grandchildren, one great-grandson and two sisters, Jean Greiner of Battle Creek and Alice of Puerto Rico.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
