Michael "Moose" Kent Ramer, 60, Kokomo, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Dec. 24, 1949, in Kokomo, to the late Wilbur D. and Opal Vandella (Hopper) Ramer.

Michael attended Haworth High School and retired from Continental Steel. He enjoyed going to Friday night singles clubs in Kokomo and had many friends there. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and was an avid Colts fan. Michael put everyone's needs before his own and was a very generous, caring man.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; a daughter; four grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; companion of 10 years, Janet K. Edwards; and sister, Sue Baugh.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with the Rev. Ken Spangler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon until time of service at the mortuary. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
