A. Buethner Died, Age 85

Well known resident of Parkers Prairie community for 59 yrs.

Parkers Prairie February 6 - August Buethner died Wednesday, January 31, at age 82 years 3 months, 5 days. He was born in Prussia and came to this country in 1886. He married Ida Pflugrath April 22, 1892 and lived in this community for 59 years. Two children were born to them, the son died in infancy and Freda, the wife of Zinter died in 1914. She left two children, Hilmer and Hilmar, whom the grandparents raised.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Immanual Lutheran Church, Rev. Sieving officiating.

Those left to mourn are his widow and two grandchildren, Hilmer Zinter of Washington and Hilmar (Mrs Longbella) of Austin and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Henry Boehne, Albert Thun, Charles Berger, and Edwin Karger. Burial was in Parkers Prairie Cemetery.
