Wyvern Edward Harris was born in Masterton on 21 December 1897 (reg. 1898/18929). He was the son of Edward George Harris (1867–1934) and Alice May Moran (nee Cotter) (1875–1963) who divorced in 1911. He served during World War I under the name Wyvern Edward Harris. Killed in action, Bapaume.
