Horncastle News 28-10-44: Capt. P. R. (Pat) Alexander, eldest son of Capt. W. J. Alexander, of Ashby Road, Spilsby, and formerly of Martin Hall, Horncastle, has been Killed in action in Italy. He was 26 years of age and a solicitor. On the outbreak of war he joined the Inns 0of Court and proceed to the H.A.C. He was the grandson of the late Mr. E. P. Rawnsley. of Raithby Hall.
