RITES HELD FOR MRS. MAYME BUTLER
---Services for Mayme E. Butler were held Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist Church with Rev. James Wright officiating. Mrs. Butler died Jan. 26 in St. Francis hospital, Tulsa.
---Mayme Elizabeth Butler was born in Prague, April 9, 1898. She was united in marriage to Jasper Newton Butler in 1912. He preceded her in death July 10, 1961.
---Mrs. Butler was an Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist church of League City, Texas. At the time of her death she resided in Stroud.
---Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy Raymond of Smackover, Ark.; three sons, Vernon of Santa Barbara, Calif., Carl of Guymon, Dick of League City, Texas; mother, Mrs. Anna Allen, one sister, Mrs. Ada Phillips, both of Stroud; two brothers, Frank of Bay City, Mich., and Hubert of Visalia, Calif.
---Burial was in the Prague cemetery under direction of McVey Funeral Home.

Mayme married Jasper Newton Butler in 1912 and they had five children:
1) Herman Butler (1915-1916)
2) Mary Marie Butler Raymond (1917-2014)
3) Carl Newton Butler (1922-2011)
4) Vernon Butler
