Miss Jennie L. Wentzell 1951 Bridgewater Bulletin

Relatives here have been advised of the death of Miss Jennie L. Wentzell, which occurred in Boston on July 3, following a long illness.

Born in North River, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Ellen Wentzell and the late Hugo Wentzell. When quite young she, with her family, moved to New Germany, where she spent her youth. She was a graduate of the Provincial College, Truro, and had taught school in a number of sections of Lunenburg County prior to going to Boston a number of years ago. The late Miss Wentzell is survived by her mother, at present residing in Gorham, New Hampshire; two sisters, Laura, Mrs. John Trethewey and Lulu, Mrs. Ernest Oickle, both of New Germany; six brothers, Fletcher and Harold of Brockton, Mass.; Stanley and Carrol in Gorham; and Oscar of New Germany.

Burial took place at Brockton on Friday, July 6.
