Arm3. Rosario V. Albanese was a Radioman on a PBY-2 in the Bombing Squadron (VB-13) based on board the USS Franklin (CV-13).

He was KIA when the USS Franklin was attacked and Hit by several (Kamikaze's) Dive Bombers on Oct. 30, 1944 and he honored with a Purple heart, Air Medal and a Philippine Liberation Medal with Star.
