Billy G. Ward (Service # 35090613) was a Corporal in the U.S. Army Air Forces 822nd Bomber Squadron, 38th Bomber Group, Medium. He entered the service from Morgan County, Indiana. He was awarded the Purple Heart. At the time of his death, his family was living in Plainfield, Hendricks County, Indiana, and he is also remembered on the Hendricks County War Memorial in Danville, Indiana.
