Private Leo A. Albosta served in C Company, 803rd Engineer Battalion, Aviation in the Philippines when it was occupied by the Japanese and he became a POW. He died in the Cabanatuan Prison Camp at 0430on 24 August 1942 of malnutrition and dysentery.
