I found this photo in my grandmother's papers after she passed away. I figure it was probably taken around 1940-1950. No markings or writing to tell me who these people were or where they were buried however. I had to blow up the pic to partially read the inscription on the center head stone ~ EDGAR YOUNGS WEEKS son of GEORGE & SUSAN JANE WEEKS, was what I saw. On a lark I entered EDGAR YOUNGS WEEKS into Find A Grave, and lo and behold, someone called "Glenn" had been kind enough to take a picture and crate a Memorial page for him. Lucky for me too, my cousin Margie Corey Sullivan was visiting NY and was kind enough to stop by the cemetery and take a few more pictures, on 17 Jul 2011. She reported that the only stone left standing was the center stone. The stones to the left and right were missing. Who knows what happened to them?? The stone to the right says "Infant daughter of George & Susan Jane Weeks, died May 22nd, 1834". I was unable to read the stone to the left. Because Glenn was kind enough to donate his time and skill in creating and maintaining this memorial page, and I was told about Find A Grave through my cousin Margie, and my grandmother kept this picture in her possession for over 60 years or more, I was able to find a part of my family that I never would have known existed. I knew that my 3X great grandmother's name was Susan Jane (Van Cott) Weeks, but I didn't know my 3X great grandfather's name was GEORGE...now I do! Edgar Youngs Weeks and his sister were siblings to my 2X great grandmother, Adrianna Weeks Dixon. Funny how all of the dots can now be connected...thank you to Glenn, Margie & my grandmother Frances Greene Dixon. Without you all, we never would have know the rest of the story.

Inscription: In memory of Edgar Youngs son of George and Susan Jane Weeks, who departed this life September 19, 1856, aged 7 months and 28 days (born 22 Jan 1856). He has gone in the grace and I will not deplore thee, since God is the person, thy guardian and guide, he gave thee his love and he will redeem thee for death has no sting, since the Savior has died.
