Mrs. Lila McNeil, wife of W. W. McNeil, died Tuesday evening at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Harmon McNeil, 1316 Elizabeth Street.
Mrs. McNeil had been in poor health for some time, suffering from a complication oi diseases, but her condition did not become serious until Tuesday morning.
Mrs. McNeil was born in Gainesville, Ala., but later moved to Philadelphia, where she was united in marriage to W. W. McNeil. She had been a resident of Lafayette for the past forty-five years. Mrs. McNeil was an accomplished musician and was for years recognized as one of the foremost instructors in the city. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian church and was a consistent Christian. Her life was filled with many deeds, and she was honored and revered by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband and two sons, Harmon McNeil, of this city, and R. L. McNeil, of Pontiac, Mich. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. W. H. Hilleary, of Fredrick, Md., and five grandchildren. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
