Lexington - Services for Mary Lillian Amick, 93, of 1018 East Steele Rd., will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Kay Eugene Overcash officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Linda Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Bill Schumpert, Larry Mitchum, Phillip, Allen, David L., Jr., James B. Dean, Jimmy and Gary Amick. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Emmanuel Women of the ELCA. Visitation will be 7-9 this evening at Barr-Price Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 2491 Emmanuel Church Rd., West Columbia, SC 29169 or St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 213 St. John's Church Rd., Lexington, SC 29072. Mrs. Amick, widow of James Colie Amick, died Sunday, August 27, 2000. Born in Lexington Co., she was a daughter of the late Noah West and Jane Rodella Shull Harmon. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the WELCA, Eve Circle and the Adult Sunday School Class. She was retired from Food Service with Lexington County School Districts 1 and 2. Surviving are her son, Colie J. Jr., David L. Sr., Gerald Cromer Amick, all of West Columbia; Aaron Luther Amick of Leesville, Lonnie Edward Amick of Gilbert; daughters, Mary Lorene Schumpert of Columbia, Sarah Rodella (Dale) Waits of West Columbia, Anne Louise Wingard of Lexington; 25 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren.
