Louisa Jane Vaughn Dixon was the daughter of John and Louisa Jane "Eliza" Huddleston Vaughn. She and Andrew Johnston Dixon were married in Clay Co, TN on June 8, 1879 by J.S. Harlan, Justice of the Peace.

In the 1910 Hamilton Co, TX Census, Liza reports she is a mother of 12 with only 8 living. Andrew & Liza have been married 31 years.

In 1920 Pontotoc Co, OK Census, they are renting their home in Ada. Frank & Amy (Dixon) Palmore are also residing in their home.

The 1930 Collin Co, TX Census, finds AJ & LJ Dixon in the home of Taylor & Cora (Dixon) Trammell, with relationship to head of household as father in law and mother in law.

I have located: Ulyses Comodore, Ida Viola, Mary Ada, Margaret Cora, James Edgar, Henry Clay, and Amy.

I do not know where Henry Clay Dixon is buried, but he was born May 10, 1895 and died in San Joaquin, CA on May 9, 1967. Information from Ancestry.com CA Death Index 1940-1947, mother's maiden surname: Vaughn.
