Miss Nancy Candice Truslow, 58, died at 1:15 a.m. today at her home in Nellysford.
She was born Nov. 10, 1890 in Nelson County, a daughter of Mrs. Ida Bell Truslow, Nellysford, and the late Richard Lee Truslow. She was a member of the Wintergreen Christian Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. R. L. (Noble) McGehee, Richmond; and Mrs. J. C. (Lelia Rachel) Thompson and Mrs. F. W. (Ora Bell) Whitlock, both of Nellysford; two brothers, R. L. (Richard Lee) Truslow and H. R. (Hoy Roosevelt) Truslow, both of Nellysford; a number of nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until the hour of service. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wintergreen Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. J. L. McKinney, Lynchburg, pastor of the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Page Grove, Auldman Campbell, Grover Meeks, Woodrow Meeks, Thomas Fitzgerald, and Joseph Thomas, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Delmas Davis, William Carter, Mulford Campbell, Wallace Thompson, Joseph Puckett, and Cash Napier.

There is no record of a marriage for her and she remained single until her death. She was living with her brother, Hoy and her mother as single in the 1940 census.
