William Henry King, 72, retired banker of 103 S. 4th Street died in New Hanover Memorial Hospital Saturday afternoon after a long illness.
Born in Wilmington, June 14, 1902, he was the son of the late James Sidbury and Evelyn Alexander King.
He was educated in the Wilmington Public Schools and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a retired banker in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Regina Timlin King, of the home. His brother, Dr. Roderick King, preceded him in death in 1972.
Graveside services will be conducted from Topsail Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 3 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Edward L. Moore officiating.
