Millie Ethel Irwin was born in Salisbury, Sangamon Co., IL on 9 May 1899, the youngest child of Oscar Drunery Irwin and Minerva Jane Stevenson. She was married 28 January 1920 to John William Hart, and they had three children: Mildred, Norma and John.

Millie was an exemplary mother and homemaker, as well as an outstanding cook and baker. She also kept the books for her husband's coal hauling business. She is deeply missed by those who love her.
