Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis.
BAY ST. LOUIS - Claudia Marie Alexander, 76, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001 in Bay St. Louis. Mrs. Alexander was born in Long Beach, and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Alexander. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Martha Ann and Frank Tarver of Bay St. Louis; three sisters, Josephine Bates and Gladys Bastian, both of Gulfport, and Delores Armstrong of Louisiana; two brothers, Claude M. Smith of Cottonport, La., and James Smith of Columbus, Ga.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 until 10 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis. The funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
