COBB, John Davis, 93, died Monday, July 12, 2010. Born July 13, 1916, he was a World War II Veteran. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010, Dr. Ed Helton will officiate, and a Private Family Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Raines Cobb; and two children, Wayne Cobb (Kathie Cobb) and Betsy Echols; five grandchildren, Philann Cobb Stewart (Ryan), Melissa Cobb Cleondis (Dean), Laura Cobb Handey (Jeffery), Libby Echols McGill (Brad), and Brad Echols (Julie); eight great-grandchildren, Molly Raines McGill, Margaret Elizabeth McGill, Davis James Cleondis, Anna Marie Cleondis, Byron Cobb Stewart, Clara Rose Stewart, Dillon Reed Handey, and Wyatt Helton Echols.

Pallbearers will be Brad Echols, Ryan Stewart, Dean Cleondis, Jeffery Handey, Brad McGill, and Bob Mixon.
