Funeral services for J. T. [Jake] Faircloth, 54, Of 790 Peachtree Street who died in local hospital Monday after a brief illness, will be held at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary.
Elder W. H. Hancock and Rev. C. W. Stitt will officiate and burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be M. E. Hurley, W. K. Stanley, J. W. Chance, J. M. Marker, F. F. Holmes and J. W. Wootan.
Faircloth, a retired clerk with the Southern Railway, was a life long resident of Bibb County, the son of Oliver G. Faircloth and Mrs. Naomi Maddox Faircloth.
He was a member of Ft. Hawkins Lodge 418, Scottish Rite, the Legion of Honor of the Shrine, the Loyal Order of the Moose, the Brotherhood Of Railroad Clerks and the American Legion Post 74. He was veteran Of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Sally Mae Waller, Macon; a brother,. E. C. Faircloth, Coral Gables, Fla.; a niece, Penny Faircloth and a nephew, Terry Lee Faircloth both of Coral Gables.
