Lydia Martinez, 91, passed away on Aug. 6, 2010 in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born Oct. 5, 1919 in Englewood, N.J. to Jonas and Saemei Bernhard.
Lydia graduated from Mount Kisco High School and devoted her life to raising her family.
Lydia enjoyed traveling, hiking, and just enjoyed nature. She also loved painting and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Marcia Land; her grandson Gregory Land; her granddaughter Christine Byrne; and great-grandchildren, Alexandra Land, Ryan Byrne and Amanda Byrne.
A celebration of life will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Park.
