Donnie Ray Teague was born in Alamagordo, New Mexico in 1943 to Rufur and Estalene Swanson Teague. He married Janice Balfour, my cousin, in 1961 in Yoncalla, Oregon. They later divorced. He graduated from Yoncalla High School in 1961 and had lived in Eugene, Oregon for the last 45 years of his life. He was 62 years of age. He worked for Northwest Natural Gas for ten years and Carrothers Sheet Metal for seven years. Survivors included two sons, Donnie Lee Teague of Dexter, Oregon, Jeffrey Teague of Eugene, two daughters, Stacy Teague of Eugene and Stephanie June Kling of Burns Oregon. Also surviving were his parents of Yoncalla, a sister, Gloria Shaw of Green Oregon, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
