Rebecca Lynn "Becky" (Blackwell) Rogers, 55, passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at her residence in Franklin.

She was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Franklin, to Charles and Bonnie (Black­well) Blackwell. She married Matthew Rogers on June 12, 1999. He lovingly survives in Franklin.

She was a 1973 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

Also surviving are a son, Charles Robert "Chuck" (Sonya) Mayo of Greenwood; a daughter, Denise Dawn Cassetty of Franklin; six grandchildren, Rylie Mayo, Kamryn Mayo and Charlee Mayo, all of Greenwood, and Rebekah Cassetty, Baylee Cassetty and Annabelle Cassetty, all of Franklin; a sister, Nancy (Bob) Wright of Franklin; two aunts, Betty Jacobs of Cartersville, Ga., and Marilyn Blackwell of Franklin; and two nieces, Jill (Billy) Ross of Franklin and Kiley (Brandon) Leugers of Franklin.

She formerly was employed as a pharmacy technician at Johnson Memorial Hospital.

She loved life and enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping and mushroom hunting. Her greatest love and joy was spending time with her family, especially doing crafts with her granddaughters.

The Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a celebration of life service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31. North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
