Mrs. Clark is Taken by Death Thursday Morn
Mrs. Emma Clark passed away Thursday morning, March 14th, at the family residence, 303 Fifteenth Avenue, after an illness of three years. She was an active member of the Holiness church.
Surviving are her husband W. E. Clark; two children, Clinton and Billie Jane Clark; her mother, Mrs. J. L. Jackson, Mobile; five sisters; Mrs. Addie Ainsworth, Mrs. Vallie Bishop, and Mrs. Ida Herring; all of Laurel; Mrs. Lula Hughes and Mrs. Ethel Austin, Mobile; and three brothers; Wesley and Jesse Jackson, Laurel; Marvin Jackson, Mobile.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at Union Line church with Rev. Mr. Stringer, pastor of Fifteenth Avenue tabernacle, and the Rev. E. A. Kelly, Laurel, officiating, Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The pallbearers will be I. P. Purvis, Sursey Lock, Harvey Quarrels, Pearson Parrish, Etheridge Bush, Taylor Parrish.
