EAST LIVERPOOL – GARY LEE CASTO, 63, of Susan Drive died at 7:40 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at his residence following a brief illness.
Born Dec. 29, 1946, in East Liverpool, a son of the late Orrville G. and Geraldine Casto, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He retired from the fabricating plant at General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio.
He is survived at home by his wife, Georgia Mae Casto, whom he married August 29, 1987.
Surviving are two daughters, Jo Ann Casto of Oak Park, Ill. and Becky Lynn Torres and her husband, Jorge of Winterville, NC.
Also surviving are a step-daughter, Tammy Lynn Wilson of Chester; a sister, Joyce Owen of East Liverpool; and a brother, Alan Casto and his wife, Ann of Poland, Ohio.
There are two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, John William "Billy" Wilson III, and a brother, David Casto.
Services are planned for 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home with the Evangelist Will Montgomery officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial is to be in Longs Run Cemetery
