George Clason Edwards, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Tacoma, Oct. 1, 1994, He was born Mar. 31, 1912, Puyallup, WA., the youngest of nine children, He was raised in the Edgewood District and graduated from Fife High School. George was with the Tacoma Police Dept. for 26 yrs, retired as a Sergeant in 1966. George loved to golf and enjoyed his yard and loved being with his family. Survived by his loving wife of 58 yrs. Gladys; daus: Barbara Stevenson of Tacoma, Carol Pace, of Tacoma, Sally Holcomb, of Puyallup, son, Doug Edwards, of Enumclaw; sisters; Ethel Bailey, of Bremerton, Verna Cook of Fife; and nine grandchildren, Service will be held Tues,, Oct. 4, 1994, at p.m. at the Chambers Creek Chapel at the New Tacoma Cem. Memorials. may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., Services directed by Dryer Mortuary,"
