Lillian Lindsey Taylor

Lillian Lindsey Taylor, formerly of Linn community near Doddsville, MS, and more recently of Mathiston, MS, passed away on May 8, 2010 at North Mississippi Medical Center/Eupora, Mississippi.

She was born on February 26, 1922 at Dockery, Mississippi and graduated from Shaw High School.

Her husband, Hiram E.Taylor, her father Carlton P. Lindsey, her mother Ola May Stephenson Lindsey, a sister Vivian Ferguson, two brothers Frank and John Lindsey, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Mathiston First Baptist Church.She is survived by sisters Joyce Meadows and Nan Keith, brothers Alex (Marie), James Robert,and Bill Lindsey and by stepchildren Douglas H. Taylor (Betty)of Leesburg, FL, and Joy Taylor Stietenroth (Conrad)of Normangee, TX, step-grandchildren Jennifer Taylor Sibley (Anthony)of College Corner, OH, Brian Taylor (Barbel)of Bonita Springs, FL, Mike (Michelle)of Round Lake,IL,Erica Stietenroth,and Jim (Erica) Stietenroth of Houston,TX,and by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until 1PM on Monday,May 17th at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi and will be followed by funeral services at 1 PM at the funeral home which will be officiated by Rev.Wade Stevens of Mathiston First Bapist Church. She will be buried at Spring Valley Cemetery, Mathiston, Mississippi.
