Jack Raymond Sanders, 81, of Eureka died Feb 03 2002 at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. Mr. Sanders, a lifetime resident of the Eureka area, was a farm implement mechanic and also farmed for several years.

Jack Raymond Sanders, the son of Elmer L and Clara May Barlett Sanders, was born Dec 12 1920 at Eureka. He attended rural schools. He married Meryl Josephine Smith on April 23, 1941, at Eureka and they lived in theTonovay, Hamilton and Eureka communities.

Mr Sanders is survived by his wife, a son, Gerald Sanders of Strong City; a sister Clara Louise Meadows of Ellinwood, four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren. A son, Joe Raymond Sanders; a daughter, LaDena Mae Sanders; and one brother died earlier. The graveside service was Feb 06, 2002 in Greenwood Cemetery at Eureka. The Rev. Terry Morris conducted the service. Memorial contributions to the March of Dimes may be sent to the Campbell-Kelley Funeral Home, P O Box 595, Eureka 67045.
