MARIE ZIMMERMANN

Mrs. Marie Zimmermann, 80, 1015 First Street, Kiel, widow of Carl, died unexpectedly at her home Saturday. The former Marie Henning, she was born December 6 1897, in the Town of Herman, a daughter of Christ and Marie Krumdick Henning, and attended district school. On April 7, 1917, she was married to Mr. Zimmermann at Trinity Lutheran Church, Howards Grove. The coupe operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until their retirement in 1961 when they moved to Kiel. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in April 1967. Her husband died May 2, 1975. Mrs. Zimmermann was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel, and its Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Pautz, Mrs. Anthony Hoerth and Mrs. Alvis Faust, all of Kiel; four sons, Carl Jr. of New Holstein, Robert of Manitowoc, Daniel and Dale both of Kiel; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; a brother, William Henning of Sheboygan Falls, and a sister, Mrs. William Matzdorf of Plymouth.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. The Rev. Richard Warnke, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Kiel Cemetery.
