Emery - Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mildred Abelin Brinkerhoff was carried by her beloved husband into her Father in Heaven's loving arms July 5, 2001, of causes incident to age.
She was born September 5, 1912, in Emery, Utah, to Arthur Magnus and Mary Sophia Nielson Abelin. Married Curtis Brinkerhoff, September 18, 1931, in Emery, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple April 1, 1939 and they had six loving children. Curtis preceded her in death July 29, 1978.
Mildred was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in numerous capacities. She will be deeply missed by all.
Survived by her three children, Marie (Howard) Day, LeeRoy (Eleanor) Brinkerhoff, Curtis (Julie) Brinkerhoff; three sisters, Florence Anderson, Lenna Bell Williams, Dorlene Gates; 18 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren; and 13 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by ther parents, one daughter, two sons, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral, Tues. July 10, 2001, Emery LDS Ward. Interment, Emery City Cemetery.
