Cora Alice "Cody" Patterson was born into this life to Allen A. Patterson and Mary Elizabeth Lamb. She wore many caps throughout the course of her life: wife, mother, grocery store proprietress, and private duty nurse. She married Omer Jalmah Wiseheart on October 10, 1907. Their union produced two children: Sedellamae B. April 01, 1919 and Omer John B. June 09, 1924. She could still dance an Irish jig and giggle like a young girl when she was on in years. Her homemade rhubarb and dutch apple pies were the finest. They were made from fresh fruits grown in the backyard of their modest Brightwood home. She was living with her son at the time of her passing in Tampa, Florida.
(NOTE: She was married a second time to Ray Dille years after Omer's death)
