Bill married Ella Hensley, daughter of John Baxter Hensley and Mary Elizabeth Tate Hensley. They moved to Hutchinson, Ks., where I believe Bill worked for the railroad. They never had any children.
After Bill retired, he and Ella moved back to Decatur, Ark., where they spent the rest of their lives. Bill was out walking one day and was run over by a car and killed. Ella only lived a few days longer. Her sister, my grandma, always thought that Ella died from a broken heart.
