She was born in the Clio Community of Whitley County to the late Henry Clay "Red" Jones and Mary Martin Jones.
She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church and its WMU and Ready Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband. George H. Barnhill; two sisters, Hattie Rains and Flora Richmond; and a brother Lonnie Jones.
She is Survived by three children ,
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at O'Neil Funeral Home with Rev.Doyle Lester and Rev. Darvin Wells officiating.
Burial will be in the Sutton-Pemberton Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
