Albert was the first ruling Elder of the Presbyterian Church in the Princeton Area. He was a chaplain in the Confederate Army. Albert, and his wife, Nancy Vermillion Stovall, came to Mercer County in the 1850's from Henry County, Virginia. The informant of Albert's death was Robert L. Stovall.
