Nina Chappell Hanson Bowers was the second wife of Clarence Bowers following the death of his first wife, Lydia.

DEATH: NINA HANSON BOWERS

Nina Hanson Bowers, age 80, passed way October 15, 1991 at the Canyon Hills Care Center in Nephi, Utah.
Born October 31, 1910 in Nephi, Utah to Robert and Clara Golden Chappell. Married Neldon Hanson in 1929; later divorced. Married Clarence Bowers in 1979; he died in 1988. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions and serving a Stake Mission. She was active in the 4-H program and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.Survived by four chldren, Raobert Hanson, Price; Joseph Hanson, Bountiful; Mrs. William (Sherry) Brady, St. Louis, Missouri; Mrs. Boyd
(Alice) Mayer, Klamath Falls, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Pett, Midvale; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son, Paul David Hanson and one brother, Fred Chappell.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 21, 1991 in the Nephi 5th Ward Chapel, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Sunday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 No., Nephi, and Monday morning, 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
