Eddie was a lieutenant in the Essex County Department of Public Safety in Essex County Jail Annex, where he worked fo 23 years. He was a member of the P.B.A. Local 153 and the F.O.P. Local 106, Caldwell for whom he was a trustee. He graduated from Belleville High School in 1968 where he played in the marching band and from Bloomfield College in the 1980's.
Eddie served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the V.F.W Post in Fairfield. He was also a member of the Essex Emerald Society. He loved trains and had a large set of ho trains. He left a daughter,Donna and a son Edward Jr. Many years ago he saved me from drowning off my Aunt Irenes dock I never really thanked him for that Ed Thank-You.
