Fr. Sebastian was born in Bari, Italy. He belonged to the Congragation of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood and was ordained a priest on Nov. 1, 1920. He immigrated to the USA in May 1930 to work among Italian immigrants in the newly formed Most Precious Blood Church in Rochester, NY where he would remain the rest of his life. He was a warm, strong and loving priest who truly deserved the title of 'father' among his parishioners. He is also remembered as the 'bus-driver priest' for picking up the children at his school each day as their bus driver.
He is buried in the priests plot behind the chapel.
