The funeral service for Billy Ray Miller, 76, of Athens will be at noon Friday at McConnell Funeral Home with eulogies given by the family. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery on U.S. 72 West.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Michael Todd Miller and Billy Joe Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his children, Billy Miller Jr., Phillip Miller, Fletcher Miller, Mary Jane Miller-Gillette, Loretta Miller, Marie Scroggins, and Brenda Miller; future daughter-in-law and caretaker, Carrie Stanford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Miller Jr., Billy Miller III, Phillip Miller, Johnny Miller, John Gillette and Randall Moore.
