Crystal-Ronald Eugene Cain, 35, Vestaburg, died Thursday evening near his home.
Mr. Cain was born March 9, 1944, in Granite City, Ill. He was a teacher, athletic director and track coach at Vestaburg High School. He was a graduate of Alma College and received his master's degree from Central Michigan University. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam war, and was a member of Vestaburg Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, the former Nadine Stearns, whom he married July 9, 1966, at Buchanan; a daughter, Mary Ann, and a son, Scott; both at home; his mother, Mrs. Clara Cain, Winamac, Ind.; grandmother, Mrs. Clara Graf, Benld, Ill.; two brothers, Michael, Belleville, Timothy, Eureka, Calif.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal, Pastor James Lemmons officiating. Interment will be in Richland Cemetery.
