Midvale - Willard Charles Burgon, Jr., 88, died Aug. 30 of natural causes in Salt Lake city. Born Sept. 28, 1880, Union, to Willard C. and Emma Crouch Burgon. Married Mary Ann Walker Dec. 17, 1902, Union. Later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Oct. 30, 1956. Filled Canadian mission for LDS Church. Survivors: sons, daughters, Archie L., Maywood, Calif.; Maurice C., Mrs. Delbert (Louise) Newbold, Mrs. Phillip (Maggie) Alldredge, Mrs. Kelvin (Burness) Kemp, all Union; 23 grandchildren 51 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Heber J., Albert E., both Union. Funeral Wednesday 1 p.m. Unioni Second LDS Ward chapel, 545 E. 7200 South. Friends call 8090 S. State Tuesday 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at chapel one hour prior to services. Burial Murray City Cemetery.
